DAKINE ha inziato la sua avventura sulla costa nord di Maui nel lontano 1979, grazie a Rob Kaplan, un surfista, ma anche un artigiano che amava costruirsi le tavole e gli accessori per surfare… il suo primo obiettivo era stato realizzare un nuovo leash da surf da onda con matereiali e cuciture che fossero a prova di bomba. La seconda sfida è stata la prima strap da windsurf regolabile…
Da quegli inizi gloriosi DAKINE ha percorso una lunga strada, ma lo spirito, attraverso l’innovazione, l’integrità e la maestria è rimasta intatto: orgogliosi di realizzare materiali ed accessori da dare agli amici che amano stare in acqua, come piace ai DAKINE boys!

The Venture boardshort is a 19″ outseam boardshort. Using a lightweight 4-way stretch fabric, it features Comfort Close Fly ® with no rash internal binding and minimal hook and loop closure and a side pocket coil zipper.
Those looking for a longer style can opt for the Stacked . A 21″ outseam boardshort, it has the same construction and a back pocket with auto-locking coil zipper.
The Men’s Heavy Duty Snug Fit is a 6.5 oz. surf shirt that offers UPF 50+ sun protection. It features boardshort connector, flatlock seams and ranglan cut short or long sleeves.

DAKINE offers a range of functional accessories for SUP sessions.
The Waterman Pack  is a minimal hydration pack with a 2L reservoir and Quick Disconnect hose. Built with lightweight nylon and mesh, it features two external pockets, waist and sternum straps and mesh side panels.
The SUP Leash Coiled  is perfect for open water sessions. The straight-coiled-straight coiling method keeps coiled leashes on the board and out of the water. 10′ long, it is available in 3/16″ and 5/16″ thickness, with calf and ankle versions.
The SUP Paddle Bag adjusts its length from 183 to 218 cm and fits up to two paddles. Made with durable 600D polyester, it has 1/4″ foam padding, heavy duty corrosion proof zipper and an adjustable shoulder strap / handle.
