Simmer Freestyle Project

Simmer ha appena siglato un contratto con l’esperto freestyler inglese Max Rowe, che diventa a tutti gli effetti responsabile per lo sviluppo delle nuove vele e tavole freestyle della blasonata factory.

Max, che è uno freestyler più professionali nel PWA Tour, con più di 10 anni di insegnamento al Club Vass e di gare nei tour EFPT e PWA, lavora in collaborazione con il sail designer Tomas Persson e lo shaper Ola Helenius.

Dopo un lungo lavoro di progettazione, i primi prototipi sono stati realizzati e Max è andato a provarli in Egitto nelle ultime settimane con risultati promettenti. La nuova vela freestyle ha come caratteristiche principali una costruzione leggera, un grosso spunto di potenza e una rotazione docile.

Tomas Persson ha commentato il ritorno di Max in Simmer: “Max ha iniziato la sua carriera in Simmer ed ora siamo veramente entusiasti di riaverlo in squadra.
 Le conoscenze di Max nel freestyle sono uniche: capisce subito quello che funziona e quello che non va… così il lavoro di progettazione è più facile e rapido, visto che ha anche provato tutto quello che il mercato offre. Siamo molto eccitati di questo progetto e contenti del risultato ottenuto fino ad ora.”

Simmer Freestyle Project
Simmer has signed UK freestyle expert, Max Rowe. He will be responsible for the new development of the freestyle sail and board for Simmer in co-laboration with sail designer, Tomas Persson and board designer, Ola Helenius. After long discussion about the design brief the first samples were made and Max has been testing them in Egypt for the past weeks with promising results. The freestyle sail will focus on light-weight construction with lots for pull forward and smooth rotation. Tomas Persson comments on signing Max:
Max started his career on Simmer so now we are super stoked to have him back on the team. He is one of the most professional freestyle riders on tour, with his superior knowledge of product development, with over 10 years of teaching at Club Vass and competing on the EFPT and PWA tour. Max knowledge about freestyle equipment is outstanding, he understands what makes a design work or not work and he has tested everything on the market. We are all really excited over the project thrilled with the outcome so far.
The freestyle project will be launched during late summer 2016.
