Challenger Sails 3G 4,7

Continuano le presentazioni, atte ad “alleggerire” la prove vere e e proprie sul cartaceo, dei vari materiali testati che troverete sul prossimo numero di dicembre/gennaio 2018.

Era da almeno tre anni e da una Konda che mi aveva gentilmente “imprestato” Valter Scotto a Tenerife che non provavo personalmente le vele Challenger, ma con i vari “collabo” impegnati nei test dei prodotti di altre velerie, questa volta mi sono “testato” sia la 4G 5,3 che la 3G 4,7 e cioè due delle vele che con la veterana Konda compongono il “reparto” wave della veleria di Senigallia.
Sulla carta la 3G, sul cui sviluppo Challenger lavora orma da diversi anni, è la vela wave ideale per i pesi leggeri, ma dal test… per ora vi dico solo che mi sono dovuto ricredere della “visione” che avevo delle tre stecche.

Con la bugna più bassa, il centro velico rimane, tra le mani del rider anche più piccolo, all’altezza del boma rendendola facile, confortevole, stabile e in pieno controllo in tutte le condizioni…
