Yentel Caers, Freestyle World Champion

Veloce aggiornamento da Sylt in Germania, dove siamo arrivati al sesto giorno dell’impronunciabile tappa Schauinslandreisen Windsurf World Cup.
Almeno per quanto riguarda il freestyle i giochi sono fatti: dopo due giorni di gara, con una grande rimonta nel double elimination, in cui si è visto tutto il meglio che la disciplina può offrire con vento forte e onda, Yentel Caers ha conquistato il secondo posto finale in virtù del quale si è laureato Campione del Mondo Freestyle 2023… ed è la sua seconda volta dopo il titolo del 2019!

Lennart Neubauer, a solo 19 anni, si laurea vice-campione del mondo, prendendosi il lusso di vincere la tappa di Sylt, dopo che aveva conquistato il sesto posto a Fuerteventura.
Adrien Bosson completa il podio del ranking freestyle 2023 con il quarto posto conquistato a Sylt (2° a Fuerte), mentre Steven Van Broeckhoven terzo qui a Sylt (e 7° a Fuerte) si deve accontentare della classica medaglia di legno!

Jacopo Testa, quinto classificato a Sylt e già quinto classificato a Fuerteventura rimane costantemente al… quinto posto anche del ranking freestyle 2023!
Con Matteo Iachino che stamattina si trova in seconda posizione in classifica generale dopo quattro eliminations dietro al brasiliano Mateus Isaac, con Bruno Martini al momento quarto e il sorprendente Daniele Benedetti sesto… tutta l’attenzione oggi si focalizza sulla slalom, mentre per il wave se ne parla da domani o dopodomani…
